On Saturday, the Rotary Club of Santee-Lakeside turned ordinary moments into extraordinary impact. With sleeves rolled up and hearts wide open, our members brought hope to vulnerable seniors served by Meals on Wheels. Club members understand we are stronger when we serve together. Each act of kindness was a spark—and together, we lit up Senior's lives with the spirit of Rotary.
This effort produced 160 gift bags load with goodies and funded by individual member donations of supplies and goods purchased through a grant from the Santee Santas Foundation/San Diego Foundation.
It was a joyous moment for all and highlighted the power of Rotary in making a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable.
